Independent Schools

Westminster School – World renowned Westminster School is a co-ed boarding school right in the heart of London for children aged 13-18. Founded in 1560, Westminster School prides itself on being an allrounder and does not rely entirely on academic results.
Highgate School – Is a co-ed day school for children from 4-18 years. It was founded over 450 years ago and is located in Highgate Village, although it is not far from the City, it is surrounded by lots of lovely green spaces including Hampstead Heath.
University College School, Hampstead – Founded in 1830 as part of University College, UCS is one of London’s best day schools for boys from 4-18 years. Situated in Frognal, Hampstead the school prides itself on not only academics but also forming well rounded students at this pupil centric school.
Grammar Schools
The Henrietta Barnett School – This non-denominational girls grammar school is one of the top schools in the UK both in the private and state systems. Located in the centre of Hampstead Garden Suburb, their A level results for 2022 were the best in the school’s history with 89% of pupils obtaining A or A* grades.
Queen Elizabeth’s School – This all boys Grammar school in Barnet, North London has a rich history. It was founded in 1573 by Queen Elizabeth I and is consistently ranked as one of the top secondary schools in England and has been awarded Sunday Times state school of the year.
The Latymer School – Established in 1624 in Edmonton, North London, The Latymer School is a co-ed grammar school. With over 1350 students the school is known to be one of London’s most successful grammar schools and their examination results place them in the top 10% of schools nationally.
St Michael’s Catholic Grammar School – Located in North Finchley, London, St Michael’s is a single sex girls school with a co-ed sixth form. The school consistently achieves outstanding Ofsted ratings and fantastic examination results putting it at the top of the league tables for single sex grammar schools in North London.
